This is the view from the front door. I love it here, it is truly a retreat. The horses walk by the house every day on their way to frolic in the pastures, it's quiet, and nature surrounds you.
Rogie loved it there too, except for the crazy pugs that live on the farm that made sure Rogie was aware that he was visiting THEIR home. He wanted nothing to do with them.
Mmmm Malbec in the lawn chair, glorious! Ok, lets be real, yes some of it made it from the glasses to our mouths, but honestly Kelly and I are such klutzes that a portion of it was spilt on the grass as well ... can't even blame it on being drunk, just "gracefully challenged"!

We enjoyed one day visiting wineries. Our favorite was Barrel Oak. Beautiful grounds, good wine, live music, and great sangria on a hot summer day!
It was a great retreat! Thanks for the fun and memories Kelly, and thanks to Kim for loaning us "Chez Tapper" for the weekend!!!
