Howl-o-ween 2008

Rogie and I participated again in the annual Howl-o-ween parade in Clarendon. This is a time honored tradition amongst the dog owners in our neighborhood. Last year there were about 180 dogs and it was so much fun we had to do it again! Here's a picture of last year's costume.

My "Doggie Bag" equipped with aluminum foil wrapped goods inside the bag.
As you can see last year it was a beautiful brisk fall day. This year it was unfortunately pouring. Yes, in other words it "Rained on our Parade" :( So there wasn't as big of a turn out. But there was no way we were going to miss it! By a unanimous vote of the participants we skipped the parade/trick or treating through Clarendon where the dogs get treats from the local shops as we walk a parade route. Here are our shots from this year's costume...

The President and Client of the Hair Club for Dogs!
His business cards which were carried in a wallet on his back...
The full outfit, hair and all!

We didn't win any prizes though I think they had a limited selection this year because of the rain. We will just have to try again next year :) Happy Howl-o-ween to all!
