Last night I went with some friends to Wolf Trap, a great indoor/outdoor venue here in VA to see Matt Nathanson and the Indigo Girls. A concert on the lawn at Wolf Trap is always a great way to celebrate the summer! One of my friends, Judy, grew up with Matt Nathanson and we were able to go back stage and meet him and his band and hang out for a bit. They are a funny group and laid back. They had a great performance and Matt even sang a bit with the Indigo Girls at the end of the show!
We had a great picnic dinner while we waited for the show!

AND THEN... it began to rain, then pour, then thunderstorm!!!
We got a bit wet... let's just say you could ring out our pants! But it was a great time and actually pretty peaceful listening to the music in the rain. Completely worth the soggy jeans :)
